Hi all,

My name is Jen. I’m a twenty-something Geordie gal from Gateshead. I’ve lived here all of my life and yet I’m always finding new places to discover. Sometimes I just love exploring my town and the areas surrounding it such as Newcastle. (The buildings and the bridges never fail to amaze me.) I love going on little adventures. Whether it be to my favourite little nature spot, or a quirky café. I tend to drag my pals or my pooch Poppy along for the ride too. I’m partial to the odd afternoon tea, and it’s my aim in life to find the best ones out there. (Any recommendations, please let me know.)

This blog is a space for me to show you my favourite places, old and new. It’s more of a little journal for myself, so I can remember the things that I’ve seen and done. Photography is a huge passion of mine, so I’ll probably fill this place with as many photos as I can. I'm into walking too, so you might get spammed with post upon post of local parks and beaches. I’m all about the great outdoors. Don’t get me wrong, I love civilisation sometimes, you can’t beat a nice hot chocolate in a cosy little corner. On the other hand, a walk in a deserted forest, with no one around for miles, is also oh-so-amazing.

I want to show you what's on your doorstop, if you're from these parts. If not, maybe I can show you what the North East has to offer. It’s worth a look that’s for sure...

Oh, I also love going further afield. So expect to find me lusting after tropical destinations or getting excited about plane rides...
